Yes, just make a distinction between different types of organizations. A civic organization like the Rotary or the VFW do not operate from the same core principles as, say, a Church, and certailnly not the same as a corporation for profit. Even there, private versus public companies have different foundation principles and purposes, so you have to be careful when applying general ideas to diverse entities. We're in for a rude awakening as a largely uninformed constituency falls victim to a specious message that has been spread before in our nation's history. Look carefully at the administration of Woodrow Wilson and the "we planned in war" crowd of "progressive" thinking, and you'll see how this unfolded once before.
